About the Saunders Insurance Agency Team
I'm Micheal Saunders,
Partner
I grew up in Connecticut, and I love it here with all the colonial charm and quaint shops and restaurants. My father worked with an Allstate agency for almost 40 years before his retirement. My brother-in-law and I bought the agency from him in 2010. My wife, Andrea, and I are blessed with three sons and a daughter – Tyler, Trevor, Payton and Brooke. Andrea worked at the office before our kids and now works at the office again as our office manager. What I like best about being an insurance agent is knowing that I can help my neighbors learn to make informed insurance decisions that work to help them navigate through life’s uncertainties. My agency specializes in auto, home and life insurance (but do many kinds of insurance), and we are committed to offering you top-notch services.

Partner
I am lucky to have my brother-in-law Mike Petersen manage our Wilton office. He has worked with our office since 2003 and has a wealth of knowledge to help make sure each customer has the insurance that they need, and not what they don’t need.
Andrea Saunders
Office Manager
My wife has worked with our office since 2004. She took some time off while our kids were young, but has been back working remotely from home! I am thankful for all the work she does behind the scenes to manage the offices and support our staff and customers.

Has been with our agency since 2016 and is an amazing at what she does, assisting our current customers with their needs and coverages.

Robert joined our team back in 2020. He always strives to bring a smile to your face while also helping you customize your coverages.

Joshua is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish! We are so glad he is on our team to not only help current customers, but also with any new policies you may need written.

Marc joined our team at the beginning of 2022 and has quickly become and asset to our team! He loves to help see each customer customize their coverages that are right for them, at a great price.

Michelle joins us remotely from sunny Florida! She has had over 5 years of insurance experience and is really passionate about making sure you have the coverage that is right for your needs!

Gary is our personal financial specialist. He handles Life Insurance and Retirement Products and options.

Onboarding Specialist
Kathy works behind the scenes to help with onboarding, discounts, home inspections etc.
